I am a nurse and we have been assisting with organizing and sending medical teams to PAP from the states on a regular basis since the disaster. One of our team members has been invited and involved with the cluster talks at the UN tent at the airport so YWAM in PAP can be involved in the big picture of showing the people of Haiti all that God is doing. She actually has people waiting in the wings ready to leave that are medical and construction personnel that want to help with the PAP site. Some of the responses of donations have been from hospitals, elementary school children, football team owners, radio station owners, private businesses and incorporations, just to name a few. And the supplies that have been donated are astronomical. She has been there 4X and is organizing another team to go in about 10 days. We have minimum of 500 pictures that have been taken. You know it’s amazing how a disaster as this one has brought people from around the world to the rescue. Our God is an awesome God we serve and it’s easy to see Him at every turn at the PAP camp working through the people giving the survivors medical and spiritual healing.
i want to follow the dts program, what step can i take?
you would need to email DTS@ywamhaiti.org and ask about the DTS. That would put you in the right direction.
